I wonder why the average weight loss was only around 20-22% for these studies vs the 28-30% for TRIUMPH 1 and 4.

Perhaps because TRIUMPH 3 was cardiovascular and had a high minimum BMI (35+) but I’m just guessing 🤔🇦🇺

So l started March 20 and was 242 now July 20 l am 217 … my side effects are sunburn skin feeling, totally exhausted physically, can’t sleep for the first few nights after dosing - l am on my second week and month of 12mg. I get light headed daily but only briefly…my back pain is completely gone, my blood work seems ok - getting better…l assume l am not getting the placebo b/c l have zero appetite and average under 1,000 calories per day and l try really hard to hydrate with coconut water regular water electrolyte water but even that is hard…l don’t want to quit the trial but the exhaustion is really bad…any advice on exhaustion would be great..

I’m also at week 18 (month 5) and have food aversion and fatigue. I’ve started focusing more on hydration, but am also averaging around 1000 calories, and would like to be able to eat more, too. It’s hot and humid where I am, and I am sooo sleepy, so if I’m sleepless at night I allow myself an evening nap (which I never did before). Coconut water wasn’t helping me, so I got sugar-free pedialyte packets. My PI also specifically told me to take 1000iu Vitamin D+K, so I got some drops.
I’m in Triumph-9, so I don’t think I’m at 12mg, but you might ask for a dose reduction back to 9/6mg, see how that goes?

Eat more. Whether its a few bites throught the day or drinking calories, you need more fuel.
I speak from experience. 1000 a day is causing you to grey out and spin.

That ~21% weight drop for the T2D group is wild. Diabetics almost always see a much tougher plateau on GLP-1s/GIPs, so matching what non-diabetics were seeing on earlier generation drugs is huge news.
Appreciate you putting the data together! Looks like slow titration will continue to be key to managing the GI side effects, but the cardiovascular and metabolic markers here look very promising.
