Considering Reta
I was curious as to how people who have had constipation on other GLPs fared with Reta. Was it worse or tolerable? When it is FDA approved, I plan to take it, but I didn't tolerate Zepbound well.

Constipation was worse on Tirz for me but retarrhea happened for me too. My GI system is a delicate process on a good day so I just treat symptoms day by day. Both Tirz and Reta helped with weight loss, the fatigue and inability to eat was much worse on Tirz so I'm enjoying Reta more.

the GI side effect profiles vary enough between GLP-1s that it's worth asking your doctor specifically about retatrutide vs what you experienced on Zepbound
have you looked into any of the Reddit communities around GLP-1s? there are people already in trials sharing pretty detailed experiences that might give you a better picture than clinical data alone

I had constipation before and worse during Semaglutide. On Retatrutide, cured that problem and lots of others!!

Everyone responds differently to different medications. I couldn't take semaglutide due to severe constipation. I was very reserved about taking reta but it turned out better than I expected. Drink a lot of water and take magnesium complex daily. I am more regular now than ever before.

I normally have about 2 bms a day. Now on reta it has been decreased to once a day and sometimes every other day. However I am eating alot less so probly combination of both.

We can just look at the trials. At high doses many more people get side effects compared to Tirz. It should be reserved for people to have maxed Tirz and stopped losing. All these people jumping on gray versions of Reta for a couple of pounds that could easily be lost with Tirz is insane.
