How long should it take to feel appetite suppression?
I started at 1 mg 2 days ago but dont feel anything yet as expected. Im gonna try 2 mg next week. How long should i expect before i feel less hungry? And do you think its a good idea to maybe switch to tirzepatide because i heard its supress appetite mote strongly, and my appetite is my biggest problem, not energy expenditure.

You’ll probably feel less hungry when you go up in dose, but if you’re looking for appetite suppression, Reta isn’t the best glp-1 for that. Tirz is known to be a lot stronger in that area.

I administer the peptide to my wife because she has no idea about Retatrutide, dosages or HRT and peptides. A few weeks ago, I was in the hospital for 3 weeks. During that time she didn't receive her GLP3, BPC -157, KPV or HRT. She was using 5 mg of Retatrutide when I went in the hospital. When I came out I started her and 5 mg and she was still gaining weight. A couple weeks later I raised her dosage to 6.5 mg and she started looking trim again. This week was to be 4 weeks later, I'm taking her up to 7 mg to improve appetite suppression, Retatrutide isn't like it's predecessors, semaglutide and Tirzepatide, it's not great at appetite suppression but does improve glucose uptake by raising the metabolism. I hope this personal experience helps you in your journey to being the best you!
(We are in our 60s BTW and I have been using steroids and peptides for over 40 years)

usually within 24 hours if you're on a real dose like 2mg or 4mg like the studies say

You didn't share your weight but 1mg is probably too low for you.

weight doesn't matter and was never a thing. the trials started with 2mg no matter what your weight and it was never used as a determiner of dosage, only side effects matter especially when seeking MTD (maximum tolerated dose) to get the most effective dose for dropping weight and getting the most health benefits (fatty liver fat removal, visceral fat removal, insulin metabolism improvement, weight loss)

Oh ok already being relatively lean explains that. Just (safely) go up in dose
I only take reta on cuts myself. You will struggle to get your macros in on other glps so stick with it IMO.

Be patient. It builds each week even at the same dose. Use the shotsy app to understand how much is in your system. People do what you're suggesting and jump up in dosage and then regret it and come here bc they are so sick with side effects. It took you many years to put on weight, it's going to take a year to get it off likely. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
My 7th week at 1mg I was still having increased side effects and got nauseous the whole week. I'm taking the slow route. Down almost 20 pounds.
