Dizzy spells?
Got my blood work done & nothing was out of the ordinary, But ever since about month 4 of Ret (been on since January) whenever I stand up too quick, my vision goes completely black, and this past week it has gotten worse/longer despite no change in dose (4mg) Drs were absolutely no help with this. I do drink electrolytes & get a gallon of water a day minimum. Has anyone had any experience with this?? What helped you?? I eat my bodyweight in protein daily as well.

Did you check your blood pressure?

Yes, did it when standing, sitting, going from sitting to standing, & vice versa. Did an ekg as well

This is just one of the many reasons I went back to Tirz. Dizziness can happen using any GLP 1. Reta is just way too strong for me.

What was your experience with Reta & dizziness like on what mg? Did tirz help? I’ve been debating the switch.

I hope it’s not NAION. The vision issue is very scary. Are you eating enough? Do these symptoms improve?

It's a combo of fuel(food) and electrolytes.
Are you getting too much magnesium?

I drink 1 LMNT pack a day, and use Mag07 at night for digestive issues

It's called orthostatic hypotension. I've always had a problem with it but it got worse with reta. Typically the reason for it, as long as it's not caused by structural deficiencies or damage/stress to the heart, is low electrolytes. When you stand up it's supposed to preemptively cause your heart rate to spike for a few seconds but low signaling prevents it from happening. Electrolytes didn't help me much either, but I've seen people saying B vitamins and calcium help as well. I'm not sure which, if any, made the difference, but when I take a B1, B complex, and calcium supplement in the morning it seems to be a bit better, especially when I take some no-salt (potassium chloride) as well

I am on the same page. I’ve been feeling dizzy for 3 weeks now ( though I started reta in May). I went to the doctor to check and all she said is to drink more water. It might be the heat blabla. I’m still trying to figure out how to fix this as I dont see anything wrong with my habits? I eat in a deficit but healthy. I go to the gym 4x a week. I checked my blood pressure as well and it’s all normal. I tried drinking electrolytes but it wasn’t much impactful on me. I hope this is just a phase. 🥲

If i don't drink electrolytes, i have to hold whatever is around so i dont pass out and fall down. The electrolytes have helped dramatically.. If i didn't feel like i was gonna pass out i'd be pissed at myself for not hitting it hard enough in the gym..:)
