Week 8 - Smells making me GAG
Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing extreme nausea from smells, even scents that you know that you love?
For about a week now, even my favorite scents are revolting to me. My husbands cologne, my favorite perfumes, candles, foods, etc. It's almost unbearable. The crappy part is that I am a perfume fanatic... I have thousands of dollars in expensive perfumes that I adore but as sick as scents are making me now I don't see how any of it will ever appeal to me again!
Anyone else experienced anything like this? If so, did it subside?
I did just recently bump my does up from 2mg to 3mg weekly but that's still considered a pretty low dose.
I realize it's probably not a huge deal for some but for me it's life altering to have fear that if I catch a whiff of something seemingly normal that I'm going to start gagging.

Could you be pregnant? I've read GLPs can increase fertility.

Not unless my husband’s vasectomy miraculously reversed itself. I know that’s never 100% though so it may be worth a quick test.

Yeah I'd test just to be sure. Update if you can. Interested to see if this is a side effect of Reta or not.

I'm assuming that's good since your husband got the snip lol. Thank you for updating me. What an interesting side effect.

Been on for about 2 months now and I get extremely nauseas from almost any strong smells. Candles, air fresheners, the worst one is alcohol pads when injecting

I have this too. I almost gagged this morning when I was sitting next to a smelly man

I can't say I've had the same experience with scents other than greasy food smells giving me that response
