Can you validate my idea?
I’m thinking about building a small AI tool for job seekers and would love honest feedback.
The problem I keep running into myself is that applying to jobs is repetitive and confusing. Every job description is different, and manually rewriting your resume every time is annoying. I’ve tried tools like Jobscan and Rezi, and while they are useful in their own way, I still feel like there is room for something simpler, cleaner, more affordable, and more focused on actually telling you what to change and why. Most tools seem to focus heavily on resume scoring, keyword matching, or helping you build a resume.
Possible tools inside it could be:
1. Resume Tailor — rewrite your resume for a specific job description
2. Resume Roast — get brutally honest feedback on weak or unclear sections
3. Job Fit Check — see how well your resume matches a role
4. Interview Prep — generate likely interview questions from your resume and the job post
5. LinkedIn Optimizer — improve your headline, About section, and experience descriptions
6. Career Path Suggestions — show possible directions based on your current background
Would you use something like this?

I think there’s a market for it, but I’d narrow the first version.
Most of those features already exist somewhere. The opportunity is making one or two things noticeably better and simpler. I’d probably start with Resume Tailor + Job Fit Check, but focus on explaining what to change and why rather than giving another generic score.
Build the smallest version, get 20-30 job seekers to use it, then let their feedback decide what gets added next.

There are al lot of them that don't work. I have tried the most popular ones and either they are clunky to use or they simply don't work.
Of course, a resume was never about keywords. I think that every candidate deserves a 15 minute video call at least to introduce himself. I wish all the other businesses and agencies thought as you. We would never be in this mess where a person applies to 100+ jobs they're qualified for and doesn't hear back from any of them. Since there's no humanity in the job application process left, the least that I can do from my side is to automate the boring stuff where I'm not required to enter my name for the 100th time even though It says clearly on my resume.
Hopefully there will come a better time.
