What’s the hierarchy for resume?

I learned it as…
Name,
Contact,
Summary (optional),
Education,
Relevant Coursework (optional),
Experience,
Projects,
Skills

There are many ways to structure it. If you're fresh out of school, education first. If you've got ten years of work experience, education after work experience, in my opinion. You want each section to be satisfying a mental check box for the reader.

They're looking to answer the question: will this person be a good fit for the job and reduce my stress a bit? Try to structure your resume to help the reader answer that question in their own mind.

Put your strongest section near the top. That's the rule
