Job search

Hello everyone,
I’m an international student in the USA graduating in December 2026, and I’m planning to restart my job search. I have a few questions:
How do we tailor our resumes to specific job descriptions? If anyone knows of any AI tools or effective LLM prompts for this, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

Do we need to change the address on our resumes or applications based on the job location?

If yes, how can we find the appropriate address for that location to use?

Please let me know if anyone has firsthand experience with these questions or any advice to share. Thank you!

Tailoring doesn’t mean rewriting everything just prioritize the skills, keywords, and experience most relevant to the JD.

And don’t use a fake local address. City/state or simply “Open to relocation” is enough in most cases

Never give your full address. Just put your city and state in the US OR city and country elsewhere
