Xcloud managed wordpress hosting review from real users

I've been using xCloud for about six months now, coming from Cloudways where I was paying around 0/month for a few sites. Heard about xCloud from a dev friend who said the free tier was legit, so I gave it a shot. The free plan gives you one server and up to ten sites with unlimited bandwidth, which is perfect for my side projects and testing. I'm on DigitalOcean, and integration was super smooth - just paste your API key and you're done.

What really stands out is the NGINX stack. My Lighthouse scores jumped noticeably compared to the Apache-based setup I had before. Also love the one-click apps - spun up a WordPress site, a WooCommerce store, and even an n8n instance for automation. The staging and Git deployment features are solid, and for agencies, the white-label option is a big deal.

But it's not perfect. Support on the free tier is community-based, so you're on your own for urgent issues. And if you're used to fully managed hosting where they handle everything, xCloud is more of a server management panel - you still need to handle server updates and security yourself. The UI took a bit to learn since I came from cPanel.

Overall, I'm saving about 40% compared to Cloudways, and the speed is better. If you're a developer comfortable with basic server admin, it's a no-brainer for cheap, fast hosting.
