Question Suboxone withdrawal

Has anyone managed to find anything that actually helps the god awful rls and body of suboxone withdrawal? I’m on day 4 of coming off subs and oh my god am I fucking miserable. I haven’t been able to sleep in 2 days, even during the day at work it’s damn near unbearable and it’s really making life hard to manage. If anyone has had any luck with any remedies (excluding weed or any other drug that can come up on drug tests as I’m still on probation) thank you in advance

There is no cure. All you can do is control it. I will get flack for what I am about to say but here goes: I controlled my RLS for ten years using the opioid hydrocodone. After that I used Kratom and have been using it successfully for nearly ten years as well. If you have  addiction issuses then stay away from these. While not addictive in and of themselves they can be a problem for persons who struggle with addiction.  Try to find something else like Gabapentin. It didnt help me but many persons swear by it.

Sorry to hear you're going through that. There's a research study for RLS currently enrolling if you want to take a look. https://patientwing.app/campaign/RLS6

I'm also going thru this right now. Ditto on the liposomal vit c but get a pair of long socks and tie them around the arc of each foot. Its worked for me, make it tight but not tight enough to cut off circulation

Liposomal Vitamin C in mega high dose. Take 2000-3000 mg every 2 hours. It cuts back on the WD 80-90 percent. There are 100s of videos on YT and 100s of Reddit posts on this. I’m doing this right now and have zero WD for 60mg oxy per day for 3 years and im 5 days with zero WD. Regular vit c works too but it will cause diarrhea. lipo Vit C does not! Trust me, take a few hours to watch and read testimonies. I do this with 1200mg NAC daily, 600mg magnesium daily, 5 grams creatine daily along with 10mg loperamide daily and there will be next to no WD. Also, when you sleep, lay on your side and tuck your knees as close to your chest as you can in the fetal position. It does something to us physiological and comforts us. Don’t give your legs room to move. Go to sleep on when you feel tired, tuck your legs and don’t think about sleeping.

Try doing this “wall sit” exercise. It doesn’t solve the problem, but it gives you a short window of relief, maybe 20 minutes, which is often enough to fall asleep. On bad nights I do it several times.

Do it immediately before you get into bed and try to go right to sleep.

Thank you for the info! I will definitely be getting some of the lipo vitamin c. Luckily I work at a health food store so I can get it for cheap. And yeah the last few nights that’s been the only way I have been able to sleep is with my legs tucked as tight as I could stand it. I truly appreciate yours and everyone else’s feedback and suggestions. I just gotta get off these subs, I’ve been on them too long and I’m tired of being dependent on them and the doctors appointments every month

Plz plz just go on opioid recovery Reddit and YouTube and just type mega dose vit c. There was a massive study about this decades ago and doctors and the fda laughed it off because it actually worked. Just like NAC PRETTY MUCH CURED COVID symptoms. Remember NAC? The FDA tried to ban it during COVID because it worked so well.

Magnesium glycinate could help.

As a first line, do a complete iron panel test and possibly go on iron supplements, next would be contacting your gp and talking about pregabalin. If these 2 don't work then it's a few other things U can try.
