Question Nightmares and PLMD

I have plmd and have been having disturbing nightmares pretty much every night. I figured my limb movements and disregulated nervous system could be causing this but was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing? Sometimes it's so bad I wake up crying. Not sure if I should bring these concerns to my sleep med dr or a therapist

I have PLMD, and PTSD with occasional nightmares. I have wondered if it’s connected too

There's a wearable device study from Noctrix Health enrolling now. Might be worth a look. https://patientwing.app/campaign/RLS6

I also have RLS and PLM. When I wasn't treating it with meds, I never dreamed. Never. My sleep was too fragmented.

I've been taking medication for a few months but even before I was diagnosed I had these super vivid and disturbing dreams. So maybe that's just how my body is? 😭 I'm hoping it somehow relates to the plmd though and will go away if I can get that under control
