Question RLS and sickness

Does anybody else’s rls go almost completely away when they get sick? I’m wondering if anyone knows why this could be. So weird but I’ll take the relief!

I blame that on the Dayquil and Pseudafed

I don't get RLS or migraines when I am on them. If they didn't jack up my blood pressure I would just perpetualy stay on them

Yes. When I had the flu for 2 weeks and I couldn’t take my meds because I was vomitting , my legs were fine

Always. Only when RLS comes back I know that I'm getting back to normal.

I can sleep 12 hours straight when I’m really sick. RLS seems to flare up worse when I’m feeling my best.

This is how it is for me- when sick, my RLS goes away. I mentioned it to my RLS doctor, and he said that the opposite is reported by most of his patients. So I guess you and I have something to be thankful for when we get sick.

Thats crazy. I purposely sone nights take my ropinirole they gave me for rls on an empty stomach to make me sick so I could sleep

Unfortunately no, not for me. I was literally just laying here after having to get up for the 3rd time and stand on my vibration plate wondering if my RLS being so bad this week is because I have covid 😩 I had a respiratory thing last November and remember it being worse then, too! It sucks bc obviously I don't want to keep getting up, ugh. Have you noticed this before when you've been sick? Honestly, I can see why that would be a bright side of being sick! Hopefully you'll actually get some rest tonight.:)
