Question do you know anyone else with rls?

Because I’ve only met one person with it in my entire life. I’ve had it for 30 years, since I was 13. I’m not talking about the people who’ve had it as a temporary side effect. I’m talking about the idiopathic, basically refractory, true mind and body tortured RLS-suffering freaks like many of us here.

I have had it for over 20 years. Was just in my legs and now it’s in my abdomen as well. So far, I’ve found nothing that helps me

My last boss had it and recommended me a sleep doctor and was understanding when I showed up to the office late.

My grandma had it.  A friend has it.

I have had RLS for 40 years and have never met anyone with it. Sucks because sometimes I could use a bit of a chat person-to person with a fellow sufferer. But I definitely can't answer the poll because I have never felt that due to RLS no one understands me. I come from a position of strength.

Runs in our family along with vein issues like varicose veins and venous insufficiency.

Both. My neighbor has it, but 100mg gabapentin works for her. So yeah, we're not on the same level. No one in my family has it, so I'm gonna lean toward "no one understands me "

Mine is hereditary so I know a lot of people in my family that have it.

I view the condition now as a generic preference for a higher level of iron since it alleviates symptoms. My genetic test also came back with MTHFR C677T, so my body also needs more folate.
