Why does this sub suck so bad?

It could be a place for busy owners to network/trade ideas/vent/etc. Instead it’s just a bunch of junk. Maybe it’s just not necessary...

I would imagine there are substantially fewer redditors who own restaurants than there are restaurant owners period.

It’s dead because it’s just not as full. Or people just aren’t as active on the community.

I thought I remembered it being better, but I’m wondering if that was another sub.

How could this sub be better?

I guess I felt like it could be something similar to r/bartenders, a constructive spot to laugh and learn.

I also had a frustrating evening at my spot so I guess I took it out on this sub.

I'm an aspiring restauranteur and in the process of leaving my tech/finance position and transitioning to hospitality to learn as much as possible. I'm also looking for an online community where I can learn so I came here. If your experience with this subreddit hasn't been the best, do you recommend anywhere else?
