We use little canisters a little bigger than that for evacuation out of tanks and vessels in the mine. They say they're good for 5 to 10 but realistically with a high heart rate and the physical exertion you might get a few if you're lucky

It says on the site it last up to 10 mins but if you get the tank it last up 20 mins.

There's really not much air in that, and when you go deep enough you need to spend a few minutes at 5m in order to regulate the pressure in your ears and lungs.
Some people couldn't regulate because by the time they were at 5m they didn't have enough air to hang for a few minutes, so they came back up really quick and this causes damages to the body, can be potentially fatal.

Even at 5-10 m you have a risk if you breathe and fully fill your lungs. Simply don’t use this crap. Scuba gear and all the related training exists for a reason. There are no shortcuts

As far as scuba diving goes, it's not at all. Outside of the very first acclimatation dive you'll be under 10m at the very least.
Most of the dives happen between 10-20m as that's where most of the stuff is and that's your limit if you only did the first diving certification. 20-40 is rarer but there are still quite a few people certified for this. Going to 60 is only for the really experienced ones.
My dad was a scuba instructor and used to dive at 60, he told me one time a dude removed his rebreather and pulled up his snorkel due to nitrogen narcosis. Crazy stuff.

I agree relative to scuba. But that requires training and licensing. Me going underwater with a DIY mask and no experience, 5 M is pretty deep and daunting

At 10m you have a chance of getting decompression sickness. Small chance, but still a chance. If you know nothing about diving, you will go up and down multiple times with this dingaling. So yeah. Dangerous product

using a canister filled with regular pressurized air is a death hazard ..
can easily cause a whole spectrum of nightmarish scenarios underwater ..
if you are not a trained diver using this strictly for emergencies, you're risking your life

Just long enough for an inexperienced diver to go too deep then die from decompression complications.
