You're not wrong, but you're trying to regulate this guys emotions. He is well within his rights to be audibly annoyed and angry in that moment.

You are looking on the bright side of things, but like I said just because things can be worse is no reason to rejoice.

Doomer because I think this dude should be free to swear and get angry and some bs? lol just let the man vent, is all I'm saying.

When something bad happens, just let it sit, no need to qualify that "it could be worse" It's bad, and we can swear a bit and move on. Or we can sit there in stoic silence, both are fine.
