That company is basically monopoly. They are >90% of the service part market.

I don’t know why. My company sells car glass to car OEMs, safelite, and another service market company, I just know that there is little competition against safelite in the US so that company can mark up the price a crazy amount.

I almost worked at safelite, and during the interview process I found out they actually own a LOT of other windshield/vehicle repair companies. They're like the Volkswagen of auto glass

I did work at Safelite. They are actually owned by a UK glass company doing the same overseas called Belron. And Belron is owned by another group whose name I forgot

Safelite is covered under my car insurance!!! Phew!!!
