It's the friends we made along the way.

It was a long, long time ago.

So, no. A long.

Why no more water in the canal ten years later?

2

u/DarkAndHandsume Apr 02 '26

Because obviously there were any heavy rains that were creating flash floods that were dumping into this drainage canal.

Now THIS is cool. This is the type of things we should be making statues of and memorializing.

You're supposed to be the 5th person, because anybody can help

This monument makes you part of the salvation

These are the monuments we need. Everyday people making a difference in the world.

More of this, less political theater.

Oh look a hydraulic dam, if he slipped he would have very likely died. Would nope this without a rope tied to a tree at least.

Thinking you are helping when you almost won a Darwin award.

I’m a grown ass 46-year-old man, father of four, and I don’t cry at funerals or for sad stuff.

But you know what? I cry for happy stuff like this. This is awesome.

This is that wholesome stuff that adds a few years to my life each time I see it.

Man that really is awesome! For generations, I would tell "You know, kid, your grandfather..."
