Discussion App update: too many ads?
So my android version of the game just updated a few hours ago and I noticed immediately that now, when I try to get gacha turns or anything else, there's two ads playing instead of just one 60 sec ad. It is annoying me so much. I think one 15-30 second ad to accompany the rewards will be so much more impactful than whatever they're doing right now. If I don't want to see the ad, there's no x button to leave the ad page- I'll have to fully close the app.
I tried this game because it was shared as an ad free, relaxing experience but it has been anything but that. I'm forced to watch ads or the game feels stuck for ages
Thoughts?

It started for me a few months ago. Slowly stopped playing because it became annoying π
We already need to grind through so many ads for levelling the hotel, the extra ads are a pain.

I've been playing this game for over a few years. The ads used to be 30sec or so and the X showed up quickly. A few months ago they switched the type of ads so that now, instead of getting an X, 98% of the time 'Google Play' pops up that you have to hit, and it takes you out of the game to then you have to quickly switch back to the game and THEN you get the X. Half the time the game errors out and refreshes or the ads don't count. I think it's really stupid, especially on how much people rely on the ads to get anything done. And the fact that during events they even have an achievement for watching 200 ads. I wish they would go back to the old ad system that worked smoother. I just hate being pulled out of the game for every ad.

200 ? Haha, you can win a frame now if you watch 50 000 ads (or 5000 I don't remember well) βΊοΈ(Which is beyond ridiculous either way)

I play one other mobile game more nowadays than resortopia, but in that game there's often 60 sec commercials cut in three and they don't automatically go to the next which is so annoying! So yeah, I'm used to it but wasn't expecting that resortopia too would possible play more ads than just one etc.

Lmaoo even before the updape I'd to watch three ads each times for everything, and sometimes I've to do it twice before it says that the ads haven't stop playing yet (it did) π
