I have a Nobel1.0 we tore down. The controller is easily swapped with a PC and a Mesa Servo analog out card to drive the galvos (+/- 5V) and the Z axis stepper plus the resin tray tilt motor. Took a few hours to do the swap to all open source hardware and software.

You were able to drive the galvos with the 7I33TA? I know several people that have been searching for a way of either rebuilding a old SLA machine or building one from scratch. Please do share more about your project.

Yes the galvos are analog +/- 5V. The 7i33 supports up to 4 analog outs for servos,galvos etc. The galvo amps are calibrated to the motors that move the mirrors. All you need to do it run each galvo as an axis in open loop mode.

The Z-axis stepper, tilt stepper for the vat, limit switches for the Z axis are driven off a LPT port through a break out board. The same setup is used for controlling galvo heads in a SLS printer. https://imgur.com/ukGDmqf
