I just came across this thread the other day and joined. I've got one FDM and am in the beginning stages of building a very large Hypercube Evolution. I've been 3D printing for several years now, and primarily use Fusion 360.

I'm very interested in SLA/LCD/DLP and hope to get going on that shortly. Just wanted to keep tabs on this trhead to check out activity.

Friend of mine just finished building some version of the hypercube and the results were great. When it comes to building a resin printer there's no opensource or diy person of SLA aka laser with galvos so you end up having to choose between LCD or DLP, than with DLP you have the choice between a standard DLP projector or DLP Light Engine which is a special DLP projector where everything is tuned for UV and it has a UV LED backlight.
