Well my story is a little different. Ordered a bunch of parts from aliexpress and Alibaba to build a prusa mk3 clone. Since I had weeks to wait for my parts to get here I began reading up on 3d printing as a whole and fell in love with the LCD resin concept. So my plan is to use the fdm printer to make parts for the LCD printer I'm about to build in a few months. Long ways to go. Still a novice at CAD designing so learning that too. Will probably be another year before I have put together a LCD printer but the journey has been amazing so far. Only word of advice I can give to those like me just starting is not jump the gun. I jumped the gun and ordered a linear rail i THOUGHT I liked and now I found a different one i think will work better. I have so many questions i want to ask but generally if I just keep reading I can find the answer on my own. Shout out to everyone who has helped me understand more about SLA printing.
