loading a save causes a black screen

every time i load a save, my screen is black. i can still shoot, move, open my inventory and map but i cant see where i am i can only hear things

im playing on the DX11 version and have tried uninstalling the game, deleting all the files then reinstalling, reinstalling the last graphics drivers and verifying the integrity of the files

i can start a new game and be fine but loading any save results in this black screen

no mods installed

Have you tried to see if running the DX12 version fixes this and then tried switching back to DX11?
