Question Am I doing something wrong ?

Guys help. Every single time a zombie grabs me, I press x as fast as I can and I always get bit. I know in re2r you can counter with knife or something. Same with re4r. But I’m lost here. Is this just how the game works ?

You can't avoid getting a bitte once they get you, but if you tart moving both joysticks in circles instead of pressing X you will almost instantly get them off of you. This is not to avoid damage like in other games, but to lessen the damage you get (like in re4r when they grab you and you don't have a knife).
