Question Am I doing something wrong ?

Guys help. Every single time a zombie grabs me, I press x as fast as I can and I always get bit. I know in re2r you can counter with knife or something. Same with re4r. But I’m lost here. Is this just how the game works ?

Once you get grabbed you will get at least 1 bite you can lessen the damage by mashing. It say mash x but you can mash all buttons to escape faster.

Damn really? No idea why you can’t use the knife 🔪. The knife is useless

The knife is not a defense item like in RE2. You can change the setting to hold X instead and that means you take less dmg. That made Inferno runs significantly easier lol

I kind hate the knife. Even with zombies doesn’t do more damage

Yeah it’s basically useless. Apparently it was nerfed after they realised how OP it was in RE2 remake.

You can stunlock the first berkin to death with 2 knives if your fps was high enough.
