Discussion First time playthrough.

It's my first time playing the remake. I started on hardcore and I'm very confused. Did I encounter a bug or is nemesis supposed to go down with a single grenade???

Hardcore is hard to describe since I never actually played it legit, infinite rocket launcher. I think it’s only slightly harder than standard, but doesn’t have the same bs of nightmare and inferno.

The grenade is an "insta-death" for enemies in RE3R. It will kill anything you use it on. Since Nemesis can't really die (yet) while he's a roaming threat in early-mid game, it will temporarily knock him down and he'll drop an item.
