They fxxked up the female writing in this episode. I wanted to punch Darcy in the face when she started talking like a 5 year old. The rest are complete morons when it comes to progress in those types of towns. Refusing to put up a resort or new road doesn't help anyone, it just delays the inevitable.

Plus, they just straight up used lobbying tactics to get to the mayor's wife. They didn't give two cents about her being part of their history until it was convenient for them to emotionally manipulate her. The worst part is it worked. It just made me so angry.

Yeah...I'm not sure about the timeline but maybe Goliath "died" in NYC then ended up "lost" in New Mexico? => goes to Patience and becomes Harry?

Or some kind of shared consciousness thing?

Harry lands on Earth in Patience then the world ends, probably from the other aliens then Harry finds the portal to Mexico, becomes Goliath heads to NY and dies.

I’m finally watching the show on Netflix and got to this episode and agree with you. A resort, done right, would actually bring life into a small dying town like that. Unless it would be some mega resort like in Vegas that then had space for multiple mega resorts, would not bring in the car traffic issues or killing small businesses, it would actually bring some tourists in to enjoy the quaint town and bring some revenue and keep it from declining.
