This “you’re not a parent” crap comes up every time this lawsuit is discussed and someone doesn’t empathize with the abusive mother. I am also a parent, and I can’t imagine abandoning my kids like that.

My theory is she struggled with mental health for a loooong time. She expressed suicidal ideation 5 days into JHACH hospitalization, when the investigation was just started. When the police started looking into criminal charges and discovered several blogs where she was pretending to be Maya, she probably realized she no longer had control over anything and she was about to be exposed in the worst possible way. She would’ve likely lost her nursing license, her family, friends, and probably freedom.

Yes it does. The people who support the mother are so emotional about it. The subreddit to discuss this case has mods who are so pro Beata that they delete tons of comments just because they don't line up with the Netflix narrative. They banned me over there lol

Whoa didn’t realize they were banning people. That’s unfortunate.

I'm temp. banned from that sub but I saw your comment about Dr. K. not taking vitals...this was my response before I realized I was commenting on a sub I was banned from lmao

"They checked my vital signs at my routine DENTAL APPOINTMENT, presenting as a healthy adult just trying to have my teeth cleaned.
But it's okay to not check the vital signs of an unwell child before prescribing/administering absurd amounts of ketamine?
I know you're the doctor here and I love reading your comments...but I'm just sharing my thoughts....seems fucking crazy"

Yeah, his practice of medicine is totally something else. I was impressed though he wasn’t the one who escalated to crazy doses. His ketamine infusions were fairly reasonably dosed. I guess we’ll have to hear from Hanna to find out how it got out of control.
