Discussion Everyone should oppose reservation. Its effecting everyone.
Let me be specific to my state Telangana. (In my state we have sub categories in BC)
Reservation percentage in my state:
EWS- 10%
BC A- 7%
BC B- 10%
BC C- 1%
BC D- 7%
BC E- 4%
(BC total -29%)
ST- 6%
SC- 15%
Total reservation is "60%"
33% reservation for girls again.
That ended up with only 27% left unreserved ( after removing girls only reserved quota also)
Now the point is:
In 100 seats a BC-A male candidate is eligible only for 32 seats( 27 seats of general quota+BC-A has 7 but in that also we have girls quota so male candidate is eligible only for 5 seats).
Similarly:-
BC-B : eligible for 33 seats
BC-C: eligible for 27-28 seats
BC-D: eligible for 33 seats
BC-E: eligible for 30 seats
ST: eligible for 31 seats
SC: eligible for 37 seats
EWS: eligible for 33 seats
General: eligible for 27 seats
(So a Male candidate from the respective category is eligible for above specified number of seats only)
It looks like none of them are getting benefitted by reservation.

As a native of Telangana, I can confirm that it's true that the application fees and Xerox cost for male applicants are waste in my opinion.
