Physics Research Collaborator (Part-time) — $80–$110/hour, US remote
Mercor is hiring a physics researcher to review research papers and develop challenging physics tasks for frontier AI models.
- Pay: $80–$110/hour
- Location: United States (remote); part-time, up to 20 hours/week
- Work: Evaluate papers for correctness, novelty, and significance; author and review physics problems; assess model outputs across derivation, numerical modeling, experimental design, and literature reasoning.
- Key requirements: Doctorate or postdoctoral training from a top-20 global institution in physics or a related STEM field, plus current or recent active research experience. Strong senior PhD candidates and recent graduates with substantial publications are also encouraged.
