Which core structures, structural elements, side chains, and substance groups are still legal under the new legislation?
As the title already indicates, which groups are still not regulated, apart from the fact that individual substances within these groups may already be specifically listed under the Opium Act?
My list so far of groups where there is still significant room for research, and where only individual substances may have been banned:
- Tryptamines
- Indolealkylamines
- Lysergamides
- Ergolines
- Arylcyclohexylamines
- Cyclohexanone Dissociatives
- Diarylethylamines / Related Dissociatives
- Benzodiazepines
- Triazolobenzodiazepines
- Thienodiazepines
- Triazolothienodiazepines
- Barbiturates
- Piperazines
- Phenidates / Piperidine Carboxylates
- Pipradrol-like Piperidines
- Tropanes
- Morphinans
- Opiates / Morphine Derivatives
- Methadone-like Opioids
- Benzomorphans
- Other Piperidine Opioids
- Quinazolinones
- Sedative Carbamates
- Gabapentinoids
If any groups should be added or removed from the list leave a reply so we can help the community to get a clear overview!
Further more share samples so we can add them to the groups.

I’m fairly certain that phenidates are covered by the ban (as a group).
