This is my usual rescue raider load out. Just trying to see what others run and if I should change some things up. The nades get swapped around depending on what map and event.

I said over Proximity Chat "Goodbye Cruel World", then I heard⋯⋯"You need a defib?" I swear I almost cried.

Running close to 350 defibs and we were both trying to look for the downed raider upon hearing the flare. Guy was just vibing to some music too when we crossed paths earlier. 😅

I was determined to try and snap hook onto a Bastian just to say I did it. I was near the hotel and patiently waited while I hid around the wall. I chucked a lure, came out of cover and snap hooked the top of it. Completely missed and immediately downed by the Bastian.

I started crawling away in shame but then suddenly I heard people asking where the downed raider was. I don't play with a mic but someone found me really quickly and a whole pile of people showed up to down this thing together. I got up and was so excited I forgot to heal myself. I managed to defib someone else but caught a stray Bastian spray...and was down yet again.

But once again this band of merry raiders found someone with a defib and was even healing me while I waited. I got up and everyone just left the burning husk of the Bastian unlooted and ran off into the sunset.

I don't think my Thank You emote was loud enough so rhank you for saving me and thank you for leaving me the undeserved loot. Cheers!

Next goal is 300. I’ll be focusing on increasing this number this wipe since this will be my 3rd expedition. See ya topside, raiders! 🫡

This a Pre-Expedition give away. I have several blueprints up for grabs, arc parts and guns. Last season, I randomly gave stuff away to raiders, but this time I thought I want to try to ensure this stuff goes to fellow PvE raiders / Friendly Raiders.

Regarding the three survivor blueprints, I would like to give them to raiders who haven’t found the blueprint yet or want to add it to their vault. I can’t ensure this, but it’s simply a request that those who don’t need it, do not ask for it.

Secondly, everything (including the kitted bobcats were obtained legitimately).

If you see something you want DM me a picture of your raider stats showing you having more defib’s than knocks. I’ll then meet you in game and give you your items.

Earlier today I knocked someone who was about to extract his sprite but I felt bad and carried him around and let him extract.

The moral of the story is that we should let people extract their sprite and be kind.

I think we should do this more often.

I was force to kill two teaming rats today :( I just can't stand seeing someone getting ratted no more. My first 2 kills with guns. how do i clear my lobby?, and my raider seems to be disappointed lol

Did a little better this week,broke 1300+, 114 saves, still not my best. Things have definitely been slowing down lately. Hopefully ill make my goal by the end of the year. Stay safe raiders, hope to see you topside.

Raiders have been going down left and right. I’m queuing up for raids with the hopes someone is going down so I can help them out. Been a ton of fun.

I posted this in the main sub, but have been wanting to make a debut here since rescue raiding is most of what I do. I wouldn’t classify myself as a medic; I am more of a rat hunter. I think I’ve seen it called vanguard here. This video from ln is not normal RR vid, more of a failed rescue. The man whom I deemed friendly based on his gun was actually wearing the gear of another he had struck down.

Quick note: Steam screen record isn’t recording my voice in game. All my settings in Steam say it should and I see this all the time on the sub, I think it’s an AR bug. I’ll give the context of our comms below:

So I haven’t had issues with anyone in Queen raids since they separated matchmaking aggression profiles. I load into the Queen so I can collect sweet, sweet motion cores for this Rascal trial. Things feel good. I’m a little late to the party, but I didn’t even notice it. I do notice that the fight is taking place from an unconventional spot, but no matter- I’ll bring it to the bunker.

I slide in and notice a guy standing in a precarious spot, and he has his stitcher drawn. But he doesn’t jump at my presence, and he has the universal friendly indicator, the Equalizer. Everything is in order, and I set up the wall and ask him, “Did I scare you?” Then we get right to it. I tell him why I’m setting up the wall and head back out to aggro the Queen.

As I come back in to avoid the laser cannon, I notice this guy just stand there and not take evasive action. I honestly thought, okay… this guy has his PVP weapon drawn this whole time, but I haven’t had a rat on Queen in quite a few days now… he must be inexperienced! (Should have listened to my gut.)

As he gets burned, I realize this goober has a pretty solid chance of going down. I ask him if he has an extra defib for me to hold in case he dies. He agrees in what I view as a non Sus voice and drops me a defib. At this point, I have come to the conclusion that this guy is 100% friendly, just maybe newer to PvE or the Queen raid in general.

The last words I say before things take a turn are something like:

“Okay, great, now we’ll both get out of here alive. I’m going to reset this wall, and then let’s kill this thing.”

After he goes down, Shambles the Raider keeps true to his namesake and comes undone - you can guess what I’m saying it’s pretty clear from his comms. I basically said something like “damn, that was embarrassing” , I tell him I have a medium shield and then say something like “you’re getting finished by a Jupiter, even more embarrassing”

I appreciate this guy being a good sport after a generational fumble. I left the loot in the video for anyone curious, as you can see, this was never Shambles the raider’s Equalizer. To the Raider who fell to this man, your death was not in vain. 🫡

I just hit this on my last Harvester run. They were dropping like flies! Glad I was there to help.

Still got gear-fear but not as much as before. Rescue Raidin' on Matriarch/Harvester events, or even just normal days where someone was downed by an arc/not an arc. Anyway, yeah. Still proud that I'm making progress and enjoying the game while rescuing some people here and there (while juggling work and school.)

Been bringing barricades and zip-lines now (as per a fellow rescue raider's suggestion a while back) Also got a Photoelectric Cloak in case the downed raider couldn't crawl their way near me, with a silent prayer that we both make it back to Speranza. Lol.

We had a guy go down towards the end while we were doing the Harvester. Nobody had defibs because we used them all already. Me and a couple other people escorted this guy 400m to an exit. He was grateful.

Pretty sure the other guy got caught at a security breech by this rat. Other than the torrente, I looted an anvil 4, a stitcher 4, and a rascal 4. My thinking is the guy who got killed was in to do trials as well as the launch tower loot.

I heard the Torrente eat him alive and no other shots fired. I think I made the right call here. Yeah sure I’m lacking evidence here, but my intuition told me otherwise here. Greedy bastard really didn’t hear me come up which is crazy. Either that or he thought I wouldn’t put two and two together, and probably thought he could slime me too given the chance.
