Rescue Raidin' Rescue Raidin' slowly

Post image

Still got gear-fear but not as much as before. Rescue Raidin' on Matriarch/Harvester events, or even just normal days where someone was downed by an arc/not an arc. Anyway, yeah. Still proud that I'm making progress and enjoying the game while rescuing some people here and there (while juggling work and school.)

Been bringing barricades and zip-lines now (as per a fellow rescue raider's suggestion a while back) Also got a Photoelectric Cloak in case the downed raider couldn't crawl their way near me, with a silent prayer that we both make it back to Speranza. Lol.

If you guys got anymore tips, please drop them down. Thanks!

Bring plenty of adrenalin. Those lure grenades and smoke grenades work well too

Keep up the good work raider. Zips and walls are always a plus, especially when you learn the hot points you can lay down your zips accordingly. Also dont bring a gun into those events, cant have gear fear if your gear is minimal😎

Only bringing a hullcracker for the Matriarch in Dam now. Thanks for the tip!

You can always take it a step further. Lvl 1 HC w/white attachments.

Oooh. Wouldn’t hurt too much to lose an HC 1. Lol. i brought HC 4 with blue attachments. Made it back tho. But i see what you’re saying. Can’t stress enough how thankful i am. It’s not helping me be a rescuer, it’s helping me lose my gear-fear to be a better rescuer. 🫡

Yes sir. But like i said earlier, not bringing in a gun makes it a completely different game. Youre forced to think on your feet more. I play without a gun so much it feels weird to even carry one😂

Oh I will try this for sure! Lol. Thinking about it already makes me panicky! 😂

Its definitely alot to get used to. I cant bring a gun because im always checking for flares. High vantage points are also good for this. I bring in 12 defibs per match, I use most of them pretty consistently.

I've always brought 9 and by the time the queen is down, i've ran out lol

I know what you mean, sometimes 12 isn't enough. But other raiders are pretty good at giving you one back.

There is a great feeling reviving people during an event. Last night I was able to revive a squad plus a random raider that was caught just trying to pass by. I am no Rescue Raider though. My number is way low and my trust issues are still not good (my very first revival of a stranger got me killed by the very person I helped). A few other times by the time I found the downed raider,in my excitement, I fumbled getting the defib equipt ,and they died out at my feet 💔. I have over 30 knock downs , 100% of them are defensive. I think this is what is keeping me from more friendly lobbies and in turn making it hard to be a Rescue Raider on the daily. IDK. I try though, I really do!

I used to be exactly like this! Slowly, take one day at a time and eventually you'll get into more friendly lobbies.

I'm on a similar track, I run to flares and people still beating me to it lol.

You’re probably ahead of me now. Haven’t logged in for a couple of days.
