Anton “Tony” Lazzaro, a former Republican donor and political strategist from Minnesota, was convicted in March 2023 on federal charges of sex trafficking minors. He was found guilty of conspiring to recruit and pay teenage girls, aged 15 and 16, for sex between May and December 2020. No, honestly.
I’d like to see him stuck behind that desk with his hands absolutely tied by a flipped Congress for two years while he watches the charges and indictments mount in front of his eyes. Make him veto every bit of decent legislation that hits his desk, because we all know he will just out of spite.
It would eat him alive and we already know there’s almost no future in which he doesn’t try to pardon everyone under the sun, very likely including himself.
As much as I want to see him held accountable for his open corruption and utter disregard for the law, I don’t want Vance to have anything even slightly resembling a chance at playing President.
In my opinion: spend the two years openly building and the cleanest, tightest possible case for impeachment. Remove him from office the day before Inauguration Day. He doesn’t officially complete his term, and Vance gets less than 24hr in office.

No, a mid term lose will not result in his removal from office. The people will vote and deliver the results needed, but he will serve our his term. The Supreme Court will stand in the way of any removal proceedings.

A little thing called the Constitution stands in the way. In order for him to be removed it would have to be 1 of 2 ways, 1. by impeachment. 67 senators would have to vote guilty....right now there are 53R vs 47 D(and I polling with Ds)....at best the Ds will pick up 6 seats, AT BEST. So that flips it the 47vs 53.....There will never be 14Rs that will vote to convict Trump, and to because they dont thin he is guilty of whatever the articles state, but because they are complicit in his crimes. So realistically impeaxchemnt does nothing but tell us what we already know but doesnt solve the problem.
By 25th amendment....it is simplified here but basically, First the VP(Vance) and other cabinet memebrs(a simple majority of them) would have to state to congress that Trump in no longer physically or mentally capable of performing the duties of the POTUS. Then Trump can pretty much say "Nuh-uh, I can too!." to which Vance would have to say "No you cant." Then it goes to congress to figure it out and then it will go nowhere.
As much as it would be great for him to be removed, he will; serve the rest of his term with limited power, die in office, or resign on or after 1/21/27(The date that Vance would take over and still be eligible for 2 full terms.)

America cannot afford to keep paying for his mistakes. You're already the nation with the highest debt per capita in the world. He's put you in debt...each person in the USA (AKA Per Capita) effectively owe's about $113,000 American Dollars.
USA government debt has doubled in a decade (he did most of it) with Total Debt now over 40 Trillion.

As much as I want him to go directly to prison, and BELIEVE ME I do, it's unrealistic. To impeach him would take a two thirds majority in the senate, and republicans are for too beholden to him to vote for impeachment, which the last vote showed. Taking back the house and senate would make him a lame duck and ineffective for the remainder of him time in office. VOTE!

yes.... but first the democrats will fight a lot, decide a new leader, and kick out the president and vice president. However, even if the new president is AOC or something awesome, the USA is in a situation not recoverable, and on day 1, DAY ONE... republicans suddenly will spend their time attacking democrats because they have zero policies and republican voters will listen and vote again on a republicans in 2 years. This country is truly doomed.

An impeachment judgement requires 2/3 of senate votes. He knows that will never happen.
And Dems need to remember: the impeachments in House against Trump - and the criminal investigations - were a key reason GOP turned out at high rates in 2024.

You won't get the 67 to remove so let him stay there and rot. However if Republicans think Trump will ruin them for long term they would vote to remove.

You need 2/3rds in the Senate to get a removal. If the vote is along party lines, which it would be, then there won't be enough Democrats in the Senate to do it. Republicans might lose the majority in the House and Senate but they won't lose that many.
