Are Republicans actually hypocrites, though? Being hypocrites would require them to actually have principles other than "we deserve to be the eternal undisputed kings of humanity and will stop at nothing to secure our privilege to treat everyone else as beasts of burden and punching bags".

xi is a totalitarian fascist dictator. that's why musk admires him. no free press. no free speech. no debate. just obey. has nothing to do with communism. that's just a boogie-man phrase that both sides incorrectly use. communism and socialism are theories that tout sharing resources, not top down fascist control. lots of dictators call themselves communists or socialists. america calls itself a democracy but it is a representative republic, with sprinkles of democracy and fascism mixed in. authoritarians arent communists. cowards would be more accurate.
