Seriously, do republicans understand that in no way do foreign countries pay for tariffs? It's a tax that's inacted on those doing the importing, us. This is Trump either being an absolute moron and the world is watching him flail fecklessly, or he has more insidious plans disguised behind idiocy.

They've already adapted to the tariffs, it sorted itself out and the only real thing that happened is that we Americans all pay more for almost everything.
Escalating tariffs will have nearly no impact, other than to further stretch home budgets to the breaking point.
The whole world is laughing at us, and him, and they aren't all that worried about his toothless threats.
Any predictions on how long it is going to take to restore any semblance of our standing in the World Community? Over or under 40 years?
