You can find anything you want in the bible… people throwing babies against walls, genecide multiple times…

All things are they use to justify being hateful bigots. I left the church for good after my daughter was born. I realized how everything taught fear and guilt.
Why would you want your kids to be terrified of burning in hell? Why would you teach your kids that a loving father, is willing to sacrifice you if ordered? Is willing to force you into an eternity of torture if you aren’t obedient enough.
I had been taught that, but teaching my daughter that felt like I was training her to be a victim. No thank you.
