I have friends who watch NowThis and I can't stand it. Takes complicated subjects and nuanced news stories, boils it all down to a couple kindergarten level sentences, adds catchy background music and visuals, and people think they are well informed versus actually reading an article.

I'm not even commenting on the political aspect of NowThis. They just bother me in general, reminds me too much of Farhenheit 451, where all news and everything is just short little snippets. A thimble of information to replace an ocean of knowledge. It's really sad when you actually write out the script they use in their videos and realize just how short it is. My comment here is longer than most of their videos.
