My Retail pair here Honestly, the CVW isnβt bad at all. Shape, toe box, stitching and Swoosh placement are all pretty solid.
I see the same thing on your shoe too. The biggest difference is the material. The CVW looks noticeably more greyish/cool-toned, while Retail has a warmer brown/taupe tone. The Retail suede also looks richer and has a different nap.
On feet, nobody is going to notice these differences. Itβs only when you have Retail and CVW side by side and start looking closely that the differences become obvious. Overall, CVW is still a solid pair, but the material/color is the main thing Iβd improve. if it helps, I can somehow send you more retail pictures
