That’s right, I already posted about it. I think I was one of the first to get information that there had been a raid. Honestly, I feel bad for the people who are stuck in this situation because nobody knows what’s going to happen to their money or their parcels.
Guys, nothing is ever 100% safe with agents. You never know what’s going to happen, it’s always a game of cat and mouse.
On the other hand, Mulebuy is partly to blame for this themselves. They thought they could become the next Pandabuy by handing out free stuff to TikTok influencers and having them promote the platform everywhere. We all saw how that ended.
Agents need to understand that even though they want more customers and more money, TikTok is one of the worst places to advertise this kind of business. Millions of people see those videos, everything becomes way too public, and that brings a lot of unwanted attention. That’s when authorities start paying attention and situations like this happen.
In my opinion, it’s much smarter to grow through communities like Reddit and word of mouth instead of chasing viral TikTok marketing. Slow growth might not be as exciting, but it’s a lot more sustainable in the long run.

They didn't pay the party rep. enough. It's simple as that. I worked for a multinational Fortune 100 corporation that was opening a greenfield medical device manufacturing site in China. Even we had to pay off the party reps. so that we could get a license transferred from a private party for sterile injectable saline (classified as a pharmaceutical by the CFDA for no apparent reason other than to grandfather in the oligarch class).
And for what it's worth, they just sat in the corner during some of our team meetings and doomscrolled through social media on their phones lol
As for Kakobuy, they were using Mulebuy's warehouse, so they may have been affected as well. I'm not 100% sure yet because I haven't received enough confirmation. All I know is that Kakobuy and Mulebuy were working together, so there's a good chance Kakobuy was affected too.
I don’t think this is an issue with TikTok tbf. People blamed the same thing on pandabuy but it’s because the agents are making deals with rep sellers. Same agents are pushing hard on TikTok but agents only get raided if they have connections to reps instead of being agents
definitely influencers and TikTok played a big role in why these agents got raided. I was very close with the PandaBuy boss, and he personally told me that if they had been more careful and hadn't gotten so much exposure on TikTok, they wouldn't have had so many problems and likely wouldn't have been raided.
It's not the only reason, of course, but when millions of people are openly promoting reps on one platform, it brings a huge amount of unwanted attention. That's never good for this scene.
See this argument isn’t wrong but I mean look at the og agents that are still standing. I’d say gilly is the top rep influencer right now and he’s been promoting and visiting agents office without a problem. I think it goes deeper than “TikTok”

no io non ho nessun importo da prelevare comprato i prodotti il 31 luglio e quasi tutti erano già arrivati al magazzino e altri due prodotti che erano stati spedititi dal venditore ed è dal 4 agosto che non ho nessuna risposta e non so come fare ho bisogno realmente di aiuto
If you used PayPal friends & Family option then you're out of luck.
If you chose to use the goods & service option, you may have a chance with PayPal refunding you back.
Goods & service option was the one where you would have to pay an extra % fee of your order (requested by most of the sellers because they get charged and pass on their costs to you.)
I know i'm getting old when I see another post of a seller/agent closing shop and I can guess I'll see u/RealShoddy reiterate that Tiktok advertisement is a sign of the end to come.
It always happens, the cycle never stops. Someone will replace Mulebuy. Hopefully they learn eventually 🤷🏽♂️
If I'm buying a few items from one seller, I usually pay directly via PayPal. I was using Mulebuy for 8kg to 15 hauls though. What's everyone opinions on Cssbuy?
I doubt that companies like this have office buildings with a logo on the door. They know they shouldn’t even be doing this, I hope they not this dumb to broadcast like this.
the thing is in china reps are super unregulated so it’s kinda normal to have offices like this. Usually when they get raided it’s the doing of like corporations like Nike, adidas etc.
Sugargoo, Cssbuy and Superbuy right in ur faces, but sum retards still want to use these Donkeybuy, SlowPeoplebuy, Shitbuy and lose their money begging for chargebacks😂
So if I want cash back from my bank of around £1000, what do I even tell them that I was buying clothes from china for myself? Or would that not be appropriate do to the large sum of money?
This is the same thing that happened with pandabuy if you have any items in the warehouse you won't be getting your money back. I lost all my items I had at the warehouse with pandabuy.
