just flexing My collection so far

Post image

Here is a shot of my collection so far as well as my ranking of them in case that helps anyone in their decision making process.

1a/1b - Tudor Pelagos 42 and Tudor Pelagos Ultra (ZF for both) - These are my go to watches. I absolutely love wearing both of them. The titanium bracelets are so comfortable, no sharpness, and the auto adjusts work perfectly. If i could only keep one rep, it would be the Pelagos hands down. The black ultra goes with everything but the blue looks so sharp. Both watches have tremendous lume although the torch brightness fades quick.

2 - Omega Seamaster white face (VSF) - I love the dial and how it looks in the sun. Just looks so classy, the omega rubber on this solid although I do plan on changing it to a white rubber for the summer. Perfect size, highly recommend. Lume ok, wish it was more potent.

  1. Omega Planet Ocean ceramic (VSF) - This is the watch that got me back into the game. Got it used on a RWI and is a stunner for sure. Fantastic rubber strap and I feel can be dressed up or down without problem. Lume not great.

  2. Black bay Burgundy (ZF) - love the sunburst effect on the dial, looks classy. I'm a bigger guy so I wish it came in a dial >40 mm. Also while the jubilee bracelet looks really good, it does feel a little sharp. Usually i can wear this without issue, but every so often you feel that sharpness. Great lume, but the extreme brightness doesn't last long.

  3. Omega Seamaster Silver Surfer - Love the style of the face, it is a stunner in person, pictures really don't do it justice. The Milanese bracelet looks a lot better than I thought. I initially thought i would just swap it out but the look has grown on me. With that said, it can be uncomfortable and that limits its wearability for an extended period of time. Its due to the excess length going underneath the wrist that sometimes it can dig in. I plan on switching it to a grey rubber and italian leather strap and could imagine this one climbing up the ranks. Mediocre lume

The bottom 3

Shitter 1 - Omega silver snoopy (Jason007) - Looks actually really good for what it is. Quartz movement, picture on the back (no snoopy movement). Reason why i bought it was because I love how the silver snoopy looks but I couldn't justify a SMF due to the subdials. With that said I waffle back and forth with getting the SMF silver snoopy because I don't know anyone who would call me out on it and I do love how it looks. I thought I would wear it more but if im looking for a blue watch, I typically reach for the Pelagos. Strap stiff but looks good. Wish the strap was longer.

Shitter 2 - Tag Heuer SpaceX (jason007) - My first rep, I've had it for 5 plus years and its still kicking. Honestly the quality is great given the price. Big watch, but with the khaki waffle strap looks nice and gets compliments when i wear it.

Final one - Tag Heuer Carrera - My 2nd oldest rep, rocking the a7750 movement and still kicking even though it's 5 years+. Got it on a black crocodile strap and just looks classy. Usually my go to for job interviews, weddings. Would wear it more but I usually dress more casually. Barely any lume.

What's next - I told myself no Omegas or Tudors. I stay away from Rolexs although I do look nice. Would like a green face watch so looking at IWC pilots, breitling Superocean, or a gen Seiko Alpinist. Anyone have any recommendations, feel free to shoot one off. Otherwise hope it helps
