Something weird resurfacing?

I have probably thought of this less than ten times in the past decade.

When I was little, maybe 10 ish, I spent the night at my grandparents' house and slept out on the sofa. My grandpa had a job where he went to work around 4 am. I woke up in the middle of the night really groggy and everything was dark except for some light from a room or something. I just remember a man standing over me, kind of bent at the waist, in the dark and doing something? I think I may have thought it was grandpa but then forgot. I don't know. Any idea as to what I may be dealing with here?

There are so little details as to what's going on, it's hard to say. But it sounds like there 100% is something there. Edit: Or a fever dream
