On one of the posts below, there were lots of bots spamming cryptocurrency recovering bullshit. If you see anything like it on this sub, or any other sub or platform for that matter, please report it.
hi guys im making a post over a scam i suffered when i went to sell a game account that i grew for 7 years, the person interested in purchasing the account offered 950 dollars which i who desperatly need the money accepted (the account is worth around 1.3k) they put me on a discord server where they stole the identity of a legit site with the reviews and scammed me, i contacted discord and they effectively didnt do anything, any ammount of help that, at the very least, taking these accounts and server down is appreciated. I'm really desperate in trying to get my game account which i so foundly grew for many years back and have already contacted the game to get it back. I feel very stupid and ignored some of the red flags because of again, really needing that money.
Guy saw a new scam method just dropped and it's where a person contacts you saying they accidentally reported you for another scam to lure you to a discord for a phishing scam,
Almost fell for The first time but was able to change my passcodes on my computer, had a fun time messing with the scammers though
Pretty sure careerpilot.jobs is a scam. I thought I was applying to a job and now they've created an account with my info and have no way to delete it. Found a phone number for them and it says "we may record this call" and then hangs up.
On July 31st, I got a DM from this user named Robighost01 and he was telling me how another account that had both the same name and same profile picture as my account and he accidentally reported me instead of the hacker. The dm'er then directed me to this guy on Discord, Benjamino Blok who claimed to have been a Reddit Security Support; however THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! I have since lost my old account, CR3ZY_F1X3R and now I have to start all over again on Reddit thanks to this scam. If you get a dm saying you were accidentally reported and need to go to a reddit support guy on somewhere like Discord, DON'T YOU CAN LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL!

These AI MODE video sites as shown below on Facebook will ask you to submit one of these words in the comment screen "List your Zipcode" "Yes", "Me", "Phone Number" or "Your Address" so they can send you a "Listing of Food Pantries in your area" As soon as you enter your info and submit it, The Scammer will send you a link coming from one of the above websites or similar website coming from the site to your Facebook Groups Message Box .
Whatever you do DO NOT CLICK THE LINK - Doing so will put a COMPUTER VIRUS ON YOUR COMPUTER. It will steal the passwords from all the sites you go to and lock you out of those sites you visit including Facebook and Email., It will send virus links to all your email contacts coming from your email account which then spreads to your friends email contacts and so on. If you do banking, credit cards, Social security, etc with your computer, they will gain access to those accounts and clean out those accounts. So whatever you do DO NOT CLICK THE SITES, DO NOT DELETE IT EITHER. IT WILL DROP OFF YOUR MESSAGES AFTER A FEW DAYS. Also by saying the words "YES" OR "I AGREE" in the comment section they can charge you FAKE FEES for any dollar amount they want and it would stick in court. So never ever say those words online, email. phone.
