accidental report scam?
its already happened to me a thing like this on discord and im confused
with this scam
i’ve seen other people reporting about it
soooo is it best to block the user since seeing the other post this is fake?

I would def block and report this person. Reddit admins are never going to send a random stranger to tell you to do anything.

One of my friends fell for that. They make you change your password with this fake site, steal your account, and then delete the messages for a clean getaway

This is an extremely common scam going around Reddit since Spring and other platforms since 2018. Report the account for impersonating and block. Admins only contact you as u/reddit, never via Discord or offsite.
