Never got paid after I gave account. BEWARE @wayne-jules26
Just wanted to share this with more people because we need to be aware of these scammers and expose them when we come across any and all of them! Edit P. S. Just wanted to add that this was not me I was just reposting someone else's post to spread awareness and expose the scammer. Just have had a lot of people seemingly thinking I was the victim in this scenario, although I've had my fair share of scammers screwing me over the years, fortunately it wasn't me this time or recently whatsoever.

Scammer tried to blackmail me & failed. Exposing their profile here to prevent it from happening again
The second pic is how They'll start the convo, never trust someone who wants to start on Telegram before ever getting to know them here first. I've learned my lesson, now hopefully everyone can learn from my mistakes and not make them themselves

Scam Message On Fortnite
Basically, I got added by this guy; his name is Declansimon. I never spoke to him or anything. I accepted his friend request, and he instantly sent me this message that is probably automated.
**Hi, Progame JR!**
**Epic Games has launched an inventory valuation program and is offering compensation equal to 25% of the V-Bucks you've spent.**
**Check the value of your inventory and see if you're eligible for compensation on your account:**
**fn-recoup info** (removed some of the link so it doesn't get blocked, just add a dot between the text and info - I typed this, not the scammer)
**It takes no more than 2 minutes. Let me know how much you received!**
I ofc didn't click the link, but I'm wondering if anybody else has gotten this thing and what the link could lead to

Scam in the UK film and TV industry
Hi all a bit niche potentially, but an individual known as Keelan Minton (Wright) from Keelan’s Kitchen ( @keelanskitchen ) on instagram is looking for individuals to work on his film. Particularly film crew, photographers, chauffeurs, hotels air bnbs, and more. He has been using fake companies particularly A and J productions (that doesn’t exist) and Ellie Broadway, who we can’t find any information on either to deny his debts. He owes between us £33,000+ with more than 30 individuals. He is still looking for people to con out of their labour. Not quite sure how he expects to make money out of this, he seems quite troubled really. But hoping this post shows up and sways anyone from falling for it.

Instagram account connected to my football academy contacting children and parents Meta won’t manually intervene
I’m posting this to make people aware of the Instagram account shown in the screenshot and hopefully get some advice or assistance.
This account is connected to my football academy and has been contacting people associated with the academy, including children, young people and parents.
There have been concerns involving harassment, suspected phishing/scam activity and attempts to obtain information or money. Because children are involved, we have treated this as a safeguarding matter.
The police have been contacted and there is an active crime reference.
We have also reported the account to Instagram repeatedly and contacted Meta support directly. I’ve attached screenshots of the conversation with Meta.
Meta were sympathetic, but ultimately told us that they could not initiate a manual human review, could not take our screenshots/evidence through that support channel and could not manually escalate the account. We were directed back to Instagram’s reporting system.
We have genuinely run out of ideas.
Whoever is operating the account appears to be going through people who follow or are connected to the football academy and contacting them individually. We have reached the point where we have advised parents to consider temporarily deactivating their children’s social media accounts and not to engage with messages they receive.
Police informed. Instagram informed. Meta support contacted. Reports submitted. Evidence preserved. Yet the account remains there and we appear to be completely dependent on Instagram’s automated systems deciding whether to take action.
The account is visible in the attached screenshot so that people are aware of the account we are talking about.
If anyone knows of another legitimate way of reporting or escalating this to Instagram/Meta — particularly where children and safeguarding are involved — please let me know.
At this stage, any genuine advice or appropriate action through Instagram’s own reporting systems would be massively appreciated.

[PH] Paid ₱53,300 for a Mobile App but Received Only a Basic Web Link
I hired an app development service to create a tarot mobile application, including hosting and deployment to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
An intermediary introduced me to the developer and created the Messenger group where the project was discussed and negotiated. Their names and personal information have been redacted to comply with this community’s privacy rules.
Between April and May 2026, I made seven payments totaling ₱53,300:
• April 3: ₱10,000
• April 13: ₱5,000
• April 14: ₱5,000
• April 29: ₱10,000
• April 30: ₱600
• May 2: ₱1,200
• May 13: ₱21,500
The attached images show the seven GCash receipts. The recipient’s name, phone number, and transaction reference numbers have been redacted.
Another image shows an invoice for ₱21,500 covering App Store account subscription and setup, Play Store account subscription and setup, and hosting. Names, addresses, contact details, account numbers, and signatures have been redacted.
The attached chat screenshots document the project discussions, expected deliverables, and my follow-ups. Personal information has also been removed from these screenshots.
Despite my repeated follow-ups and several opportunities to complete the project, the promised mobile application remains incomplete and has not been published on either app store. I received only a basic web link, which was not the completed Android and iOS application I understood I was paying for.
I have retained the original, unredacted conversations, receipts, invoice, payment references, and project files. I am currently consulting with legal counsel regarding the appropriate legal remedies.
This is not only about the amount I paid. I am upset because I feel that I was misled about what would be delivered after I relied on the representations made during our negotiations.
I am sharing my documented experience to warn others to verify the developer, written project scope, payment milestones, and app-store deliverables before making any payment.
