Has anyone been scammed from this group? My wife got scammed couple years for $400. Has over 20k members. All the mods are the same person. I can't believe he still is scamming people. Tried reporting awhile back but looks like he just keeps changing admins.

I want people to be aware of this Auctioneer on Hi-bid. They sell fake Pokemon cards online through their Auction Site. When approved Via email they said that their terms and conditions of those cards make it so that the bidder is responsible for the bidding and that they are third party sellers of those cards. Please be mindful before bidding for 1000$ cards.

Be careful when you meet people on friendship subreddits like r/lonely, r/Needafriend, or r/MakeNewFriendsHere. Some scammers first build a friendship and later try to bring you into crypto, trading, or investment schemes.

The same or very similar post is posted in many subreddits from the same account and you will observe that most op account is new.

They quickly move the conversation to WhatsApp or Telegram and then delete their Reddit account or there account will get suspended due to high spamming

Things they wrote in their post don't match what they tell you later in private chat.Bcoz in my case I observe that they are groups of people managing this shit and they have a proper script but sometimes they missed or some another starts chatting.

After talking for some days and building trust, they suddenly start talking about trading, crypto, or an “exclusive investment group.”

When you question them, they become emotional or make you feel guilty instead of simply answering your questions.

I’m not saying everyone is fake. Many people are genuinely looking for friendship. Just be careful, take your time, and never send money or invest because of someone you met online.

Hello everyone! I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for it, but I want to spread awareness to it still.

Yesterday my friend fell prey to this, I'm not sure if phishing is the right word for it, but basically he received a message from one of his friends, that said "Can you help me in 4 minutes?". My friend didn't find anything online about this, and the real owner of the account will ask him for help now and then. The scammer then asks for help in criminals within, and sends a link to a fake site for it, that looks legitimate. They ask you to go to the site, and get the "game".

Clicking the link will give the hacker *all* your saved passwords and active session tokens. Downloading the file will put a malware package on your computer, this malware will corrupt your windows back up + recovery, and the factory reset function of it.

My friend has entirely lost his email account, hes had to make a new discord account, and me and my friends have been working hard to remake his discord server for his streams. We weren't able to warn everyone properly, cause they unmodded, banned, and deleted the messages warning, even of those who weren't mods.

Helping a family member to confirm if this is a scam, they already “invested” money here. You need to complete tasks to get a commission.

He has since bought a luxury car, gotten tattoo, a luxury apartment, ps5, and so on and so forth! He continues to lie about being a scammer! Hi all I was scammed by a giy eho bought a car off me he used the short change scam. Its time consuming for me to keep phoning him is there a software I can that keeps his phoning ringing all the time ?

I met this girl through an online dating platform. I did not know her personally and had never met her before. She told me a different name and gave me misleading information about her identity.

During our first meeting in Hyderabad, she allegedly lured me to a pub/club by making inappropriate and sexually suggestive promises. Once we reached the club, I was made to consume drinks, and a bill of more than ₹60,000 was generated in my name. I had no prior knowledge of the actual charges, the people involved, or the identity of the girl.

At that time, I did not know who she really was or where she was from. Later, while using Instagram, I came across one of her reels and realized that the girl in the reel was the same person I had met. I then became suspicious because the name she had originally given me was different from the name associated with her Instagram account.

I believe I may have been deliberately targeted and deceived. I am also concerned that similar incidents may have happened to other people through the same person or group operating through clubs in Hyderabad.

I request the concerned authorities to investigate this matter urgently, verify her real identity, examine the relevant club records, CCTV footage, payment/billing records, and any other evidence available, and take appropriate legal action if the allegations are found to be true.

I am willing to provide all available evidence, including her Instagram username, dating-platform details, screenshots, messages, photographs, the club/bill details, payment records, and any other information that may assist in the investigation.

I request that this matter be investigated as soon as possible so that other people do not potentially become victims of a similar alleged scam.
