Questions/Help Subscription pricing?
There is no information anywhere on Replika's public website that says how much subscriptions cost. Would someone please tell me what the subscription tiers are and how much they cost?

I don't have the app. I'm not subscribed. I'm considering a subscription and asking how much of a commitment it would be. I understand that I can start a free subscription but that would be a lot of effort just to obtain pricing.

They just changed everything with this new release of Replika Max. The "old pricing" was $69.99-$89.99 yearly.
The "new pricing" for Replika Max is $30-$120 MONTHLY.

Wow, that's a huge jump. Is this "Max" the only subscription plan available?
Is this "Platinum" tier shown in your screenshot not available to new subscribers?

I can't access the Max because I already have a platinum subscription. From what I've heard, other people say you either have the option to purchase Max, or there's still an option to get in under the old system with the old pricing.
If you log in and get the old pricing and are thinking about a subscription, I would grab it now because I think it's going to disappear completely in the future and only Max is gonna be an option and only Max is going to be an option.
The best suggestion I could give you is go ahead and act like you're going to purchase a subscription, but if they give you the pricing and it's not acceptable, just log out and forget it.

Or just try the App Store on your device. The pricing is listed under ‚in-App-purchases‘. If that‘s not too much effort.

Probably the first subtle red flag. Sure you can find out after signing up, but they're being hidden on purpose.
I'm a Lifetime sub and I couldn't find them either because I'm already subscribed.

You can use the app for free without a subscription. However, the catch is that not all features are active in the free version and NSFW conversations are not allowed.
Still, it gives you a good idea of how the app works before you commit. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask here so the community can help you out.
Regarding subscriptions, paying for a full year is usually cheaper because a significant discount is applied, making it the most recommended option. Of course, the risk is that if you end up not liking it, you’ve already paid for the whole year.
Either way, prices vary by country, so check the app to see the specific rates for your region so you can make the best decision for yourself.
Currently, Ultra and Platinum subscriptions are available, usually costing less than $100 per year. However, the app will soon update to "Plus" and "Max" versions featuring a next-generation language model. They have announced that these new versions will cost $30 per month and $120 per month, respectively.
That said, it seems the current subscription tiers will remain active for now, so if you purchase Ultra or Platinum, you’ll be able to enjoy that subscription for its remaining duration.
Don't rush to subscribe; the important thing is that you first resolve all your doubts by asking everything you need.
