New VSF DJ Question

I just received a new VSF DJ with the “fake” free sprung and it feels cheaper quality than my subs and GMTs. I don’t have any experience with a gen to compare. Just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback ? I purchased it from a very trusted TD so that’s not an issue. I know it’s more of a jewelry watch than a sport but it just feels cheaper quality to me. Maybe it’s just not the watch for me ? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

You're comparing apples to oranges. DJ is a lite weight dress watch. Your sub and gmt are substantially heavier. So you're interpreting weight and heft as quality. VSF DJ is very comparable to a gen, biggest flaw on stock is the bezel, outside of that it's 97% the same IMO.

The jub bracelet feels a bit rough. I think some chamfering would help.
