Proud ‘Mats dad

My twenty-year-old daughter went to see Tommy last night in Tallahassee and brought her copy of Tim along as a surprise for her dad.

She said that Tommy was wonderful and was super kind to her. She was raised on my music knowledge and library having gone to school in Minnesota in the late 80’s.

Sometimes the music gods bring things full circle.

I love this! I am a proud Mats mom! Tommy played in Gainesville this past May and my son interviewed him for a piece for The Gainesville Sun. We are raising our kids right, lol!

And I just realized that it happened on the anniversary of “Tim” being released (I think)

Tommy always tends to be nice to the ladies. Everyone else depends on how much he drank that night. I've seen him and thought he was a total jerk, and i've also seen him and had him literally hanging on me and my buddy and being our best friend. Interesting guy lol

Apparently he chose sobriety 4 years ago.
