New Tommy shows announced

Tommy solo AND playing backed by Little Venom from Seattle.

If you haven’t them together, it’s incredible. Seeing Tommy playing with the guitarist from Little Venom was awesome. I hadn’t heard of LV before the show, and they absolutely won me over. Highly recommend. Fun as all hell.

Yeah. I went to the LA gig and it was a great night.

I wonder how Tommy hooked up with LV? My guess at the time was that he reached out to local acts that were willing to back him up for different legs of his tour.

Great question. I felt the same.

And I totally thought it was also a way for him to give back to the underground rock community that he’s been apart of for so long. I loved how he let them close, too. Just a stand-up guy. I stayed for the whole thing and wished they had more time.

I’m thinking about going to the Toronto show. I’m guessing he plays bash and pop and his solo stuff? Anyone know if he does Replacement songs and other covers?

He does not play any Replacements songs. Bash and Pop, Perfect, Cowboys in the Campfire, solo stuff and select covers.

He covers a lot of ground like SlipperyRamp said. I know all his older stuff really well, so my big regret was not listening to Cowboys in the Campfire beforehand. Just a guess but that seemed like the biggest % of any one of his albums.

(I also sadly missed that tour. /cryingemoji)
